The Michigan League of Handweavers (MLH) was founded in 1959 to promote handweaving. The League welcomes anyone interested in handweaving or the many related aspects of fiber art and craft.

The League provides opportunities for members to come together to learn and to exchange ideas by sponsoring lectures, workshops, conferences and exhibits. As a non-profit, educational organization, we also provide seed money for events around the state sponsored by member guilds.

The picture below was part of the "Fascination with Fiber" exhibit at Michigan State UniversityThe map is composed of squares designed and made by the members of MLH guilds.
