For sale – 8 shaft, 10 treadle Fireside loom. Handcrafted by Gary from oak, and virtually a
piece of fine furniture. Very easy to warp by your preferred method as the front beam, cloth
beam and beater assembly all remove easily, while the back beam folds up and the warp
beam is easily removed. The warp beam is set up as a plain beam but can be converted to a
sectional beam. Tie up is easy involving pre-measured cords and slots in the treadles. The
loom has a worm gear warp advance and a rotary temple installed. The cloth beam has a
canvas apron. This loom can weave anything from fine cloth to rugs. In spite of its size it is
easy to disassemble and move. It has heavy duty casters and can be rolled. Two position
oak bench with hinged storage and two open storage sections is included. The loom has
inserted eye heddles installed, and comes with lots of extra heddles. Lease sticks and one
reed included. The loom is in perfect condition.
